# Chapter 7: Confronting Alyxian # session 60 (03/12/2023) - heart room - Figuel asks James to crush a diamond - Figuel casts greater restoration on everyone to remove the exhaustion - Figuel uses the potion of enhanced catnap - Lucy might have a way to help Alyxian - *fill everyone agrees to a certain degree* - party goes through the heart - inside the heart - floating above a lake - no air nor water - hard to breath - the lack of air is not real - Lucy and James are fine - takes a while for the others to calm down - fine mist all around - to move we need to think it - *desc* - lake - 3 island - crumbling prayer sites - one to avandra - left side - disrepair - yellow bulb - one to correlon - Cael Morrow architecture - far side - neglected and vandalised covered in ruidium - green bulb - one to sehanine - right side - bathed in a crimson glow - blue - center of the chamber - life sized statue of Alyxian - spear in hand - serene expression - causcious presence in our head - party goes to the prayer sites - James to Avandra > I AM FORGOTTEN. *sorry wasn't able to keep up but here is the gist of it* - treats Alyxian as a child and tell him that he needs to do it himself as a grown up - Quiwynn point out that a hero doesn't pursue glory - Alyxian still insists on needing us to judge him - this gos nowhere - Alyxian is angry - the statue melts - a monstrous form appears - *fighting script* - lair actions - cristals on the yellow site light up creating fog around Figuel and Lucy - cristals on the green site light up and tries to target Figuel - cristals on the blue site lighut up and a shadow Cali appears misses Cali - James zigzags to Figuel and Lucy - 4 ghosts appear around Cali and Quiwynn - soldiers of the battles of Alyxian - Lucy talks to the monstrous Alyxian - showing him what he added to the world - action and favor - warriors attack Quiwynn and Cali - Quiwynn echoes out of the way and Sizzle time and ails to talk to Alyxian - Alyxian the Tormented - becomes a blender - barrels to Quiwynn who dodge part of it - attacks Quiwynn with grasping hand, she is grappled - Cali dashes to Alyxian and lectures him - Figuel goes to the altar of Sehanine - he prays > make it right with him, make him realise he is not alone and forgotten - it doesn't work - legendary action - Alyxian uses weapons of Yore on Quiwynn - lair action - fog goes out - yellow - mote goes to Alyxian, Avandra's luck - green - tendrils or ruidium come out of the lake like algea - everyone but Lucy dodge - Lucy can't be restrained - blue - cold light of Catha - everyone saves but Quiwynn - Quiwynn can't be blinded - James runs towards the battle - Lucy talks to Alyxian again - this time about Perigee - the form sheds more - something instide the monstrous thing asks for help and to free him from it - Alyxian critically strikes Quiwynn with Avandra's luck - warriors - poof out the echo - Lucy teleports invisibly after a longbow hit - go up to James and hit him - Quiwynn - is being blended by Alyxian and the weapons of Yore - escapes out of the grasp - teleports with a new echo - action surge and hits back Alyxian - Alyxian - weapon of Yore dissapear - goes to Cali - stares down at Quiwynn and James - Quiwynn fails and takes full - Cali - avoids the blender - attacks Alyxian - he laughs back at the stun and the persuasion attempt - Figuel - snorts some dust (saves it) - casts Heal on Quiwynn - legendary action fail a grasp on Cali - lair action - yellow - mist is back around Alyxian - green - Figuel and James save from a charm - blue - red light from the temple glows brightly - all but Lucy are targeted but no one is frightened - James swings at one of the wraith - weapons of Yore are back - Lucy talks again to the voice inside > you can get out of the monstrous shell i trust you can - success ! - he fears he'll still be a monster even after shedding it - wraiths attack again - Lucy invisibly teleports out - James gets attacked again - Quiwynn - gets blended - gets out - pulls the ruidium bow on the wraiths surrounding James - weapon of Yore dissapears - Alyxian - stare doesn't recharges - 4 grasping hand attacks on Cali - 2 hit and Cali is grappled - Cali - gets blended - removes the grapple - flurry of blow on Alyxian while in the fog - one of the wraiths come back - Figuel - enhance ability CHA - uses a favor to try to convince Alyxian - fails > why should i try, i did it before and it destroyed me - lair action - yellow - fog goes out - Avandra's path, moves to Quiwynn and Lucy - Alyxian bonks on Quiwynn and stumbles backwards - green - Correlon's charm - Lucy resists it - blue - Sehanine's anger - Lucy is frightened of Alyxian - James swings at the wraith - legendary action tries to grasping hand - Lucy - dodges the blending - managed to convince to it to shed the husk - an angry angelic Alyxian appears - threatens Lucy back - legendary action of Alyxian the Callous 3 huge pillars of light appear - Quiwynn gets away and echo Sizzle Alyxian - Cali goes up to Alyxian and smacks him - Alyxian - Lucy is blasted by the radiant pillars - she teleports out as far as possible - goes after Quiwynn with the radiant spear - sweeps at Cali and Quiwynn - Figuel - Heal at Quiwynn - Alyxian interrupts the healing and heals instead - talks to Alyxian - healing word to Quiwynn - lair action - yellow - Avandra's luck - crit on next - green - ruidium tendrils goes out and grasp Figuel, restrained - Figuel uses his neckalce and free's himself - blue - a blinding light flashes - Figuel and Cali are blinded - James - tries to wrestle the spear out of Alyxian's hand - not working (legendary resistance) - attacks and marks Alyxian - 2 legendary resistances burnt - Lucy - drinks the superior potion of healing - talks again to Alyxian > you do have your way with words puny one - Quiwynn - sizzles Alyxian - echoes out - legendary action, the 3 halos of light are back - Cali attacks Alyxian and moves out ofthe rings - Alyxian - pillars blast down on James and Lucy - Lucy teleports away - Lucy is nearly down again - he casts Heavenly Destruction - everyone but Lucy is blasted out by it - Quiwynn is out - James and Cali are very hurt - Figuel - prays to Sehanine so she stops helping him - favor persuasion fails - *end of session with start of next round* # session 61 (17/12/2023) - inside the heart - *fighting script* - lair action - Quiwynn's echo rises up from the water - Sehanine's Torment - tries to slam on the now unconscious Quiwynn - tendrils goes from the altar of Corellon - Quiwynn's body, James and Quiwynn are restrained - fog rises around Quiwynn obscuring her body - James breaks out of the restrain - Lucy dashes through the battlefield and uses Qwywinn's potion to bring her back up - legendary action: Alyxian tries to hit Quiwynn with the spear and misses - Quiwynn is restrained - legendary action: Alyxian spears down Quiwynn again - Cali punches strongly Alyxian - legendary action: Alyxian spears Figuel - Alyxian - misses Cali with a spear - teleports near Quiwynn and Lucy - spears the downed Quiwynn - Figuel - dumps the dust in a hope to help quell Alyxian > this brings me no solace - Figuel prays for Sehanine - success - the red veins recoil on the altar - everyone gains 11hp and removes a condition - *clutch !* - turns into a water elemental - lair action - motes of light float out - Avandra's luck (guaranteed crit) for Alyxian - Corellon's on James but he is immune to being charmed - James - rips a radiant spear out of Alyxian's grasp - attacks Alyxian with it - resistant to radiant - legendary action - Alyxian flails light on James, Lucy, Figuel, Quiwynn - James and Lucy takes none - Figuel take a quarter - Quiwynn is down again - Lucy > look what you are doing, help us help you, don't continue on the path of destruction - success > I extent my hand to you, but i don't trust you yet that you woont spear me down, show me i should - success > you remembered me of mercy - Alyxian doesn't hit her as Lucy pulls away - Quiwynn - wakes up looking distraught - a red cloak around her - Quiwynn flails with Sizzle - Alyxian's form falls - a radiant star falls - crumbles into ash - an old haggard man appears spear in hand, wielding a shield, atop the lake - Alyxian the Dispossessed appears - Cali rushes to Alyxian and pummels him - Figuel - tries to appeal to Theo inside of Alyxian - success > how could the gods forgive me - Alyxian > I'm too far gone, let me be the monster i was supposed to be - 2x ruidium spear on Cali - they gain a level of exhaustion - miss with the Stoneheart dagger - lair actions - avandra's luck for Alyxian - Alyxian turns invisible - James dodges - Lucy - goes overdrive - talks into the void hopeing Alyxian hears > little trust exercise from monster to monster, will you take my hand ? - moment of silence > would you let me ? - Alyxian takes her hand and appears - Alyxian the Absolved appears - Lucy offers him a bridge to the ring if needed - Alyxian thanks us for saving him > now let us leave this cursed place - looks in the sky > I am changing my fate Ruidus do you see me ? I am changing my fate ! - ruidium shards shatters - all the ruidium corruption fades - Lucy hears peace instead of the constant noises - the place cracks and dissapears - Grottoes of Regret - no corruption in here anymore - crumbling - the pressure of the Netherdeep starts crushing again - Lucy uses th dust of dryness to reduce the pressure - Lucy remembers the path and guides the party through the shortest one - if nothing happens out of the grotto in 1min and 3min of ascension after - 3 turn through a group of 2 sorrowfish swarm and 2 light devourers - *fight script* - James get assaulted by sorrowfish but resists it - Quiwynn attacks the second swarm - Lucy throws the tree token to no effect - Figuel heals Quiwynn and summons a water elemental on top of the fishes - swarm B gets out and attacks Figuel - James goes down - Quiwynn, Cali, Alyxian and Lucy take a light devourer down - Lucy pulls ppl out of the swarms - Figuel casts Heal on James - sorrowfish continue on swarming Figuel - James wails on the other swarm - last light devourer still attacks the water elemental that has it restrained - sorrowfish fail to swarm James - Lucy finishes the second light devourer - Alyxian, water elemental, James and Cali pile up on the swarm - James finishes a swarm - Quiwynn echo Sizzles the last swarm to death - end of the combat 7 turns since the beggining - arriving at the base of the ascent - for the full ascent of 3 minutes Figuel compensates the damage of the pressure through healing - in Ankharel - Alyxian realises what is on the surface > thank you for freeing me, all i seek now is serenity - Figuel shows puppet theater to Alyxian and he is good at it - *level up* - epilogue - Figuel - big Figuel breakfast - Mighty 5 are here - Figuel casts regenerate on Lucy - Figuel finds a relic to the feywild but decides against planeshifting - stays close to ~~Alyxian~~ Theo - Lucy - get back her voice thanks to Figuel - gives papers under the name of Theo for Alyxian (forgery of 31) - cleans up the missunderstandings with the consortium and Pr. Insight - stays in Ankharel as she enjoys the city and works with the Cobalt Soul - Quiwynn - goes to see Lyndon in the hospital - make him have a proper burial - leaves him her original longbow as a memento - follows in Lyndon's footsteps - out to seek out injustices and rectify them - Quiwynn, Sizzle and the spear of Grummsh are together - James - pulls out the 3 spears, writes his name on them > funny, this belongs in a museum - James puts them in his secret underground museum - Cali - finds adventure in the waters - goes back to Wildemount and the Menagery Coast
